I don't believe he is neither gay or retarded. My feeling is that he has severe mental issues that he doesn't recognize and therefore doesn't get any medical help. It's sad that such a musical icon cannot realize that he is his own person instead of trying to physically imitate others with so much plastic surgery. His sexual identity seems to have never matured past being a little boy, but I'm not qualified to say this for certain. His life surely has been a '3-ring circus'!
