Andrew you may like the Scots and so do many other people. I like the English, one of my closest friends is very English.
I do not like the English media though. They put too much pressure on the team to win and before the World Cup had even started the media were assuming that they would make it through to the knockout stages. OK, they have done now, but not without a fight.
They are forever going on about 1966 but that was 40 years ago, 2 generations ago. Get over it, your chance will come again. The dwell on the past so much and it is so infuriating.
If the media got off the player's backs then I am sure England would have a great chance of winning the World Cup.

Scotland is a nation. Catalonia is a region. England is a nation. Why do you have a problem with this. Also , who are the scotts? This is a boys name. We are scottish or scots. I for one am so glad at the upsurge of English nationalism during this WC, this was the win-win situation we wanted when we voted for devolution. We can either have i) a Parliament making all these lovely and costly things like free care for the elderly, free bus trips , free higher education, public owned water etc , which the English pay for or ii) The English eventually get fed up with this and dissolve the stupid union. As I said a win win for the scots.

This is just what happens when 2 countries are close together like this, all the years of fighting have left bitter feelings!
The scots are the most bitter though because we won most of the wars between the 2 countries.

Do we? Only kidding. There has always been a big rivarly between the Scots and the English when it comes to anything never mind football.
My sis has just moved to Scotland from Newcastle upon Tyne and she took my 11 month old nephew shopping and she stupidly put an England shirt on him. A group of kids spat on him because of the shirt????

the scots know that if the english win they'll never have a peacefull moment again. they still complain for having to hear about 66 everytime there's a football competition.

Simple answer here...Nobody likes the over hyped, lazy, ignorant players that are supposed to be the greatest thing on two legs according to the Brits..But the facts are England are not a good team and the sooner the English realise it the better..And its not jealously...Trust me on this one..

Sure You Would!. Its not we dont want u to win but lets face it we would never hear the end of it.
Its not the English we dont like its all the hype from the media we are sick of even the commentators who are doing other matches have to refer to the England players. You would think u only had one player Rooney. Myself I prefer Beckham think he lovely
