I agree. Places are too expensive on clothes today. Whats the big deal about them anyways, i mean the only thing different about their clothes than others are the name on the tag. you have a good piont about the people starving. You know people dont seem to think about them they only think about name brand clothes.

First of all I've seen a lot more "sluttier" clothes from cheaper fashion brands. I work at Abercrombie and I absolutely love their clothing. If you want better quality clothing that are actually made to fit you and not shapeless then by all means spend your money on "Old Navy."

I've tried on clothes from places like Old Navy and I found them to be unoriginal and shapeless. I felt like I was wearing a shopping bag. I find that the more I spend on clothing the longer I keep them and continue to wear them, unlike cheaper articles of clothing I've bought. So in the long run it saves me money.

As for your last statement about donating your money to charities instead of higher fashion can go for just about ANYTHING else, not just clothing.

EDIT: Oh I'm sorry but my fashion is based on personal taste not because someone tells me it's "trendy." So of all a sudden a person likes to buy high-end fashion and now they are labeled as a zombie or follower? And what exactly do you call all those little teeny bopper girls who shop at Hot Topic now because Good Charlotte was on MTV? Give me a break, fashion is fashion. Yes, some people have no sense of it and just wear what they see on manquiens but some people actually know what looks good on them.

I'm sure if money was NOT a problem you would be right up there buying AF and other expensive clothing.

lets think about this for a second.... as a teen that i am why are we hating a brand? its not the clothes fault is the poeple that try to be the best and the most best of everyone else. and the price dont blame the company blame the poeple that choose to buy the shirt. even if you buy a 100$ shirt it still doesnt make you cool. its the additude. and i dont agree with the price. they have money they can buy what they want. and i know that even if poeple complaina bout it abercrombie and w/e all those other fahsion places itll still last. get over it. i had to, you should too

I agree with the fact that they are expensive. And some are....revealing. But some of my friends wear them, and they choose the not to slutty ones. However, I tend to not like the people who wear Abercrombie clothes more than the actual clothes.

Abercrombie is horrible and not just for the clothes. Their stores are homages to young white customers. If you're not white you don't fit their image. They are discriminatory, justifying it in the name of humor. Several years ago they released their "Wong Brothers" line of t-shirts, which basically made fun of Asians using stereotypes. If they had done the same thing with black or hispanic stereotypes, they would have been firebombed but they shrugged it off by saying it was humorous. OK if I find funny ways to use "ni**er" or "sp*c" in t-shirts, will they print them? And before that, they released a line of thongs aimed at 7-year olds. What mother buys thongs for a seven year old girl? And to top it off, they printed pictures of cherries and other suggestive imagery on them. Their catalog is basically homoerotic and pedophilic porn, with images suggestive of group sex and encouragement of multiple sex partners.

They obviously live in a different world from the rest of us, where young sex is great, whiteness rules, and they don't have to worry about discrimination.

abercrombies clothes are a better quality than Old Navy. You will have to replace your clothes more often when you spend less. I just go to a fine department and check otu the sales for good quality designer clothes.
