Well, with my first I didn't start showing untill about 4 or 5 months. With the baby I am with now I was 8 months before you could tell I was pregnate. So, No, I started showing alot later with my second child. But I am due to deliver in a few weeks and I have only gained 9 lb. I had people asking me almost everyday if I was sure I was pregnate. Haha.

I started showing with my second (the one I'm pregnant with now) the moment I looked down at that home pregnancy test and saw two lines! In just two weeks I went from a size 5 into maternity clothes, I hadn't even gained a single pound yet! I have a friend who is five, almost six, months pregnant with her first child, I'm three now, and we share maternity clothes!

YES I started showing much earlier with the 2nd. Then even earlier with the 3rd. Enjoy this time treasure the feeling of being pregnant. Now that I won't be having anymore i miss the feeling of the baby kicking or moving inside so even though you will be ready to see this baby by the end, treasure this time and try to remember all of it. It was the best time. GOOD LUCK!!!

Yes! It seemed like I grew the moment I found out lol. I think it's because your body has formely accomodated an expanding waistline, so the second time around the muscles in the abdomen are a little more slack. Therefore you start showing earlier.

Not only can it happen it is the norm and MOST women show sooner with their second child..With the first one your body doesn't really know what it's doing..with the second it knows what's going on so it starts growing sooner..

My friend at work started showing with her second one it seems like as soon as she knew she was pregnant..it was kind of funny...

anyway..good luck!

When you get pregnant a second, third, fourth time you show sooner. During the first pregnancy your baby grew then your uterus grew. During subsequent pregnancies your uterus grows ahead of the baby in anticipation of it's growth. I read it in a book, don't ask me which, being a mom of 3 I've read way too much about this stuff. Congrats and good luck.

Yes. With my first, I didn't look pregnant until the 6th month. With my second, I showed at 2 and a half months.

Yes, and most women I know do. It's because your muscles and tendons are already loose from the first child, so you "pop-out" or "sag" (as I call it) more easily once your uterus starts to grow (it starts growing from actual conception on...) Whereas with a first pregnancy, the muscles and such are tighter, so they hold everything in longer.
