When you have Democrats bacisally falling over their feet and Republicans following the advice of Carl Rove, there is no one in the spotlight that appears to be a truly fair independent thinker.

Sigh ... we had a few ... Abe Lincoln ... Teddy Roosevelt ... to name but two .... but now? Is there ANYBODY out there who is interested in representing the U.S. citizens? Who can show leadership? Instead of eating out of the hands of greedy corporations ... if such a person can be produced, s/he will get my vote!

Who would it be? as in a person that we know? or who would it be as far as what characteristics he would have?
I dont think there is the right answer for this question because i dont believe the "right" person exists, nor do i believe America could produce him.
