I had another rough day at work. I am o.k except on the days I have to work with that "witch". She makes me look dumb and doesn't want to anwer my questions anymore about work projects. SHe says "you figure it out" and then criticizes me when I make a mistake. WHen you have to guess stuff plus you are doing 3 other things with 3 people at the same time, it is easy to get confused. I cannot talk to management because she is attached at the main manager's hip, they are long time friends. I leave feeling like a failure although i do my best to get it right. I have been at the job for a couple of months but didn't receive any formal training so things come up often that I haven't handled before. What am i doing around all these perfect people?

Well, obviously your boss is imperfect too, or she wouldn't treat you like dirt but would try to help you and make you loyal to her. What I don't understand is why you're not looking for other jobs.

Wouldn't it be wonderful if all the bullies would just start a company and annoy each other? ;-0

The sad truth is the problem is epidemic. Unfortunately, the way things work right now is the victim of workplace bullies is either forced to endure it (and all the accompanying psychological and physical distress that comes with it) or leave for greener pastures (and get risked being labelled a "job hopper"). It also means that we are often categorized as not being "team players" or "trouble makers." There are few remedies in place and "at will" laws make it even harder to fight back legally.

I'm sorry you are going through this and wish you peace in however you choose to handle this. Best wishes.

You don't say what your job is but two months isn't long enough to expect perfection on ANY job. Also, you don't have the problem the person criticizing you does! You're dealing with a bully who has found someone that can't fight back. Hang in there for a while longer and document everything that this person does to you, dates, times, what happened etc. and then, if things don't improve, take your documentation to the management and tell them you are ready to go to the labor relations board.
Good Luck!

Girl let me just say I totally understand what you're going though cause I just quit my job of 3 years cause of a psycho supervisor that's best friends with the director cause I couldn't handle it anymore. So my best advice to you is if you don't feel appreciated at your job maybe it's better that you get another one cause you can't keep putting yourself through all of that torture. And those kind of people are far from perfect. They have to pick at other people to make themselves feel better about what they're actually lacking. So don't let those witches win by staying at that job, move on to bigger & better things!!!!

they are far far from perfect. they are the ones with the problem not you. i would try and find someone in management that isn't related to your boss in any way and tell them exactly what's going on. go to the top if you can! there's nothing wrong with asking questions that help you do a better job!
