Benefits---Well you never really know someone until you live with them. This will let you know if you really want to spend the rest of your life with them. Of coarse, people change, and make compromises, but this will give you a taste of what it is like and if there would be to many changes to make.
Disadvantages---Well, I did the living together thing before marriage, but I am always wondering what it would have been like to have had that first night, and first getting to know each other in the first few months of being married. I did it all before the marriage.
Either way----either way you do it, you will have what is called the "Honeymoon Period" where neither of you want to fight, and just want to make each other happy, then when it wears off you will still want to make each other happy, but you will start to settle in and that is when you really realize whether you and him are compatible.

I currently live with my fiance and we both love it! We get along great--even better now that we live together rather than apart.
The biggest advantage is really, truly getting to know the other person--their habits, how good/bad of a housekeeper they are, etc. You get to see if you are truly compatible living together.
The only disadvantage I see is if you aren't compatible, then you both end up moving--again. As for the fact that he can leave or you can kick him out, that is true if you are married or not. Hopefully, it doesn't happen once you are married, but it does happen.
I wish I had lived with my ex husband before we married. Then I would have known that we are NOT compatible in any way.
I wish you lots of luck.

the benefits are u see how the other person truly is in every aspect of life....there is no fixing urself up to go see them they see ur in pj's and before u have brushed yhair and teeth they are always there! i think it makes a couple stronger in most cases and u are more prepared for marriage cuz u know what to expect.. when you never live together and u get married u dont find out all his little annoying habits and then u might not like them and want a divorce..try putting on ur make up and having him walk in to pee lol..the disadvantage is it can break up a couple if they dont like the others habits.....trust me im married and iived with him first gtreat idea!
