aliens won't take us over, because we are a primitive backwater planet, with nothing to offer accept maybe a few paltry mineral resource's, even if they needed slave laborers they still wouldn't come to earth and take us over, because earthlings carry to many diseases and genetic defect's, it would take them a thousand years at least, to breed a decent stock of humans. even then the genetic drift of the human genome, allows for to much genetic variation. so no aliens would find this planet extremely unremarkable.perhaps if the human race were to advance itself in the field of space exploration a little more, we might just draw the attentions of the larger galactic community, and they might see us as a worthy pet project, but take us over, nope.

They have already. I find psychotic people like George W alien. Gordon Brown is prat of the week. I don't like any politicians local or national. Civil servants local and national make money making other people miserable - they are an alien species... They put you on hold - rake up your phone bill - refuse to give you information and generally act as alien as possible. Then their are people from overseas - they phone you up and in an alien voice try to sell you a cell phone contract. Win the lottery and go to a private island - if you want to get away from weird aliens - especially in England. They drive with red flags on their cars now!

It's possible. I mean, I believe that they're already among us. But, the real question should be: what will most humans do when they find out that aliens do exist? What will they do when/if they find out about any of the creatures living amongst them? But, you are the questioner and I am the answerer, so I leave it at possible. They may or may not, we won't really know until it happens after all.

doubt it. why would they bother? we've almost used up all of our resources, and the ozone layer is a state, and half the world is starving, so evidently there's not much food.
Also, it isn't fair to assume that aliens are evil mutants bent on universal domination, they are probably just like us, and they might even be here already! if they look like us, no-one could tell the difference.

They are all over the place, these illegal aliens from mexico are crawling around like cucarachas, but I doubt they would take over the world because they would have to learn english to do so.

I would like to think we will end up like Star Trek or something with peaceful co-habits with many different aliens..
But then i remember we are human and that would never happen!
Peaceful with aliens, we aren't even peaceful with each other!
