Hunams are like the rest of the animal-thingies: They find attractive that which can demonstrate reproductive fitness. In the case of hunams, they have this crazy thing called money that allows them to get more food, better shelter, and whatnot to survive. It also allows them to afford a better hairdresser and buy more expensive clothes. Of course, if the hunam is stupid, they will pay more for the same garbage with a fancy label attached. Hence, simply spending more money does not actually demonstrate a greater ability to provide through physical displays of wealth, although it may attract less intelligent females of the species that don't know any better.
In other words, "attractiveness" and it's meaning is "in the eye of the beholder," but actually it is a complicated IQ test of sorts. Perhaps he wears the trendy label clothes, but does she really know the difference between London Fog and Berberry (Or is Berberry really better than London Fog or was he an idiot for paying 10x more than he should have?). Tommy Hilfigger, Land's End, L.L. Bean, or Pendleton? It could be that the noveau riche has fancy cars, but how long do they keep them after the divorce? Perhaps he only has an income of $30k, but selects products meticulously such that it stretches far longer than peers making twice as much.
Hence, current level of holdings (material assets) may not equal net worth nor the ability to sustain or improve net worth.
So we can call glamour glammer - something that needs the backing of character to make a real dent on the decisions of the wise...

I find that the more $ a man has the more arrogant he usually is and therefore the less attractive he is. I'm not saying that a guy with absolutely no money is attractive either. A man or anyone for that matter should at least have enough money to support themselves and not have to depend on others for monetary support. I think that financial independence is a good quality, but financial excess is not usually an attractive quality.

A man is either attractive or he isn't. The money may attract some but they aren't looking at the man. What a shame. Think
how many wonderful men we might miss if we allowed this to
happen.

I would definitely say (from a straight male stand point) that rich men are more attractive than poor men. Hey, I mean, for the right amount of money I'd be anybody's boyfriend. As opposed to some dud wanting me and not having squat...I'd say, "hey I'm straight."

It depends how a man got his $$$. If he worked hard and earned it himself then I think it's very attractive. It shows that he has the ambition, determination, and ability to suceed.
But if a man just inherits his money or gets it without earning then that's not very attractive to me.
The same thing works vice-versa. If a guy is poor then its mostly because he doesn't work hard enough at changing his circumstances. If he does work hard but can't get rich, then there's no reason for him not to be as attractive as a rich guy.

Only to shallow women. If money makes a man attractive to you you will never be truly happy. You'll be in love with money and not your mate

The more money a guy has, the more money he has available to put towards looking nice, such as designer clothes, spa treatments, hair cuts/color.... also, they're probably more likely to have to look nice for their job.... however... i wouldn't take that as gospel... look at donald trump...

the best quote I ever heard on this topic was: "it's not the money that's attractive in a man, it's what the money says about the man who has it."

Well, men with more money usually take better care of themselves and dress nicer.
