it looks like several portions of the original item dragged across the screen are left (beneath) it.I'm also trying to find out if i can resolve this problem, and how? if possible.

That is the refresh rate of your monitor compounded by the data processing rate of your video card and your processor. Your monitor only refreshes so often, and the longer this time is, the more of that will happen. That is why when you look for a new monitor you make sure to ask about the refresh rate of the monitor. As far as the card goes, it dependso nthe quality of the car itself. Integrated video does that stuff all the time. It is nothing wrong with your computer, just a slight lag in processing is all.
