There are many over the counter pills to take if you need to be awake all night. However, it is NOT a good idea to take them on a regular basis. Caffeine (in coffee, tea or chocolate(to a lesser extent) will help keep you awake, but you will get a "let down" from these things afterwards.
What do you need to stay awake for? I would ask your doctor to recommend some pills if you are needing them for short term use. Be very careful, though, many of those types of medications are addictive. Be very careful of any drug that uses ephedra, as that is very dangerous for some people. Some types of Ginseng work to keep your energy level up. Also, melons (except watermelon) and organges help as they have vitamin C which is an energy booster.

No doze or any other caffeine pills can keep you awake. If you have narcolepse [spelling??] GHB (the date rape drug) keeps you from dozing off. I usually drink Monster to keep me awake.

Why do you want to stay awake at night?
I would take No-doz and drink about a case of Red Bull.
That'll keep you up.
If that doesn't work substitute cocaine for No-Doz.

During one rough semester of college I drank an entire 2-liter of Mountain Dew to make it through an all-nighter. I was pretty jittery at 9 am though.
EXTREME!

caffeine is the safest. be careful of the dosage or you can get really weirded out. Amphetamines are another solution, but have nasty side effects and on some people they don't work.
