His mom and my mom met once for a field trip and they gave each other their phone number, and now i have his phone number, should i call him and ask him?...Or should my friends do it?

Do you know the boy well?If so and you think you feel a conection why dont you ask him in person.Or find out my hearing it from a close friend.

DONT have your friends do it! That will tell him that you are shy and afraid of him. If you are not really close he may find it strange if you called him up and randomly said "i like you" if you have never talked to him on the phone before. I suggest just calling him and talking and see how things go. Call him and then don't call him again. Wait for him to call you so you don't sound annoying. Doing this will also let you know that he wants to talk to you. If things go well see if he wants to go somewhere with you and see how things go in person and then if you still have feelings for him, tell him.

u should do it, dont trust ur friends at this stuff, its between you and him. Well, If you go to the same school, i assume you do, just ask him in person, thats how i like girls to ask me, rather than the phone, but if you are too nervous, try email, thats how i communicate with my soon to be gf all the time. works great. if he dosent have an email, then i guess pick up the phone and start dialing because love is awesome

no go ahead girl and do it yourself. Dont have any regrets for not making your move. Maybe start with the moms thing and how great they got along and move onto what ever you think he might be interested in and go on from there

i was kinda in the same situation. my mom and his mom went to high school together and yeah, i have known him for a looooooooooong time. i invited him to an end of the school year party, w/ shaving cream and everything. and so i flirted w/ him the whole time and he flirted w/ me, and so on the ride to his house, my mom was dropping him off, i grabbed his hand and held his hand and saw what he did, and he didn't reject it. so now we are going out, so probably do something like that.

Try flirting wit him ova tha phone b4 u ask him if he likes you. Yea, u should have your friend do it for you as long as he know you and wut you look like but I think it would be better if you did it yoself
