Who registers a person's possession of the land and its title?

Here in America we call it the: Registry of Deeds. Every City and town has one. The deed is same thing as a title and its a piece of paper that is noarized by a notary. This piece of paper is a legal document that contains the legal description of the land - its boundaries, etc.. Mostly lawyers draw up deeds and record them, but if you know how to do it yourself anyone can. It must be notarized for it to be recorded

No real equivalent.

Each state has its own system. Most are at the county level. Many are not computerized
