No I don't. T & T showed the same tactical discipline Beenhaker demanded from them in the Sweden match, and the fact that they kept it at 0-0 until the last 10 minutes shows the 0-0 tie with sweden was no fluke. Hats off to T & T. They were tough to beat. True, England and Sweden had more scoring chances and shots on goal, but they kept the defensive line intact, until it was broken late in the game. England proved in that game (like vs Sweden and Ecuador) that they have players that can make the Big Plays that define matches.

Nah. England doesn't play pretty. But their patients always pays off. I think they were lucky to not have Trinidad Score, but... It doesn't matter how you win so long as you advance. I wouldn't be surprised if England takes another ugly win against Portugal to pass onto the final 4.

They've scored an impressive two goals in eight minutes to finish strong and win. England has also clinched a spot in round 2 where they will face either Ecuador or Germany.

England is clearly defending as well as anyone. Were I coaching, I would want to treat the Sweden match as an opportunity to open up the offense and mentally / strategically prepare for the key round 2 match.

I think so. Trinidad had them on their toes the whole time, not allowing any goals to be scored. England really got lucky in those last five minutes.

Luck is a word that others use to explain your hard work and effort. You only have "luck" if you put yourself in position to advantage of opportunity, many have the chance but very few take when prsented. Thus so many 'L" so wow they were so lucky.....mmmmmmmmmmmmmm You make your own luck..

Yes!

For such an underdog, T & T gave big-bad ol' England quite a run for their money I thought.
