do you have Windows XP?
Just right click the file, click "extract all" and after going through the wizard the file will be unzipped.

If you want to actually put it in a different location, it will say the directory there and you can change it to where you want the file to go.

click on the folder u want t o unzip
there are 2 possibilities
1 as u try to open the folder it will ask for EXTRACT FILES to a location
or
2 try to right click and see for options

You can extract all and choose the location via right click
or do the extract here option

Using WinZip, you can choose "Extract To..." option. This will ask you the location to extract.

if you have windows xp,,, you can easily decompress and extract a .zip file into the current directory that it is ! and i suggest you to install winzip and better one "winrar" ro decompress any popular archieve...www.winzip.com
if you haver winzip or winrar installed on your computer,,simply rightclick on the .zip or .rar archieve and select "extract here " or "extract to ...."
