With the small amount of info you have given, If the belt(s) are squealing and the smoke is coming from under the hood, probably an accessory that the belt drives is seized (alternator, A/C compressor, Power Steering pump, etc. That's about the best answer I can give without more info.

If the bearing does not turn freely on the alternator, the belt slips and make a squeaky noise. The sliping friction causes the rubber belt to melt. Eventually the rubber cooks and starts to smoke. Eventually the belt will melt enough to break.

It could mean many things the smoking is internal of the engine and could be valve seal, valves, piston rings lack of changeing oil.

Black smoke, piston rings poor and need replaced.
White smoke: Head gasket blown and water is getting into the cylinder.

it could mean that your car is housing a rebel mouse under the hood or that your pulley could be out of alignment or bearings need to be replaced
(try to get the mouse to try nicoret, it worked for me)
