It happen to most women ( at least most of the women I know). As far as I can tell it's just a mix of hormones and the fact that your uterus is contracting so it causes your bowels to contract as well. I hope this helps.

Now that I have an IUD, I don't get my period anymore, but when I did get it, I would get diarreha one day and then be the opposite extreme the next! I don't know WHY---but it happens!

Its because your backup systemis week. in brief when ur MC stops or begins it require some back up of b-complex so u should take good meals or some medicinal b-complex and curd which will help u in avoiding the to be ocurring again and again. try this or ask your Dr about this its the result.

One word - hormones. They don't just affect your reproductive system. Just like how you get moody or bloated that week prior - it can affect your digestive system. Many times your diet changes due to your period due to cravings - say you crave chocolate, and eat more, which is actually a natural laxative...the end result is looser stool.

Always happened to me, don't worry about it. :) Just one of those weird hormonal things. Some women get bad breath, some get pimples, some get loose stool.
