Are there any manufacturers in the US that sell bidets? Do the bidets also dry you off? The purpose of my question is to do away with paper/towels.

Yes, they are called European toilets or a bidet. Basically, they shoot a jet of water up out of the toilet that is supposed to clean you, so you don't have to use toilet paper.
