Actually, Tien Long means Dragon of the sky.
For the chinese, differen Dragon have different colours.
In the story 'Journey to the West', that horse that carries the bags for the monks are actually White Dragon, son of the sea god.
Some other common colours are green, red, black. I have yet to come accross strange colours like brown, pink (I think my daughters may like it), or purple.
The Emperor will to use yellow robe with dragon, they generally called it dragon robe.
