125 lbs is light for a girl thats 5'7! Are you kidding? I'm 5'3 and weigh 122 and have been told i'm thin often enough to believe it. at http://www.healthchecksystems.com/heightweightchart.htm it says that for a woman who is 5'7 and has a small frame being between 123 and 136 is normal.

I am 5' 7" and could never imagine being 125. I think it's small plus for that height you should be at minimum 128 depending on your body frame. From what I understand a healthy weight for this height is 128-160.

That's small for someone your height. You should try to exercise more, it would add some definition to your body, and help you not to look so lanky! Plus it will pay off as you get older. I'm not talking hours in the gym, but 30 minutes of weight training 2-3 times per week would do a lot!

125 at 5'7" would make you rather slender. Would normally expect someone of that height to be at least 10 pounds heavier. If you are getting little exercise, perhaps that weight will begin to accumulate after you enter into the 20's.

Must also consider the endomorphic body type (which you would qualify for). They can eat (must eat) several times a day without gaining weight.

That is actually a little small; however, nothing to be too concerned about. What you should do is immediately go and thank you parents for giving you that kind of frame.
Something to think about for later in life:
Start exercizing (i know, I know... lol), and keep track of what, and how you eat.
I was, at your age, 5'9" and weighed in at an amazing 119 pounds. It is now years later, and I am back down to 165, after having done a bout at 185. All due to a lifetime of improper eating, no exercise after I got out of the Marine Corps, and not paying attention to me.
Don't let this happen to you.

125 pounds is small. just because u don't exercise doesn't mean you'll weigh a lot. Especially if u eat healthy. Most of my friends say I'm skinny and I weigh 100 pounds. I'm 5'4 and I'm 12 years old. I think that your small by your description and that ur under weight. My mom was 135 pounds when she married my dad and she's 5'4. She was 23. She's was pretty active though.

I have a sister that height & she is slender. She doesnt exercise & she weighs 130-135. So 125 is a bit small. You dont say what size clothes you wear. If you are a size 4 or less, definitely a bit small for that height.

truthfully i think your probably just right. i'm 5 8 and 130lbs. and my husband calls me his trophy wife. i dont exercise at all except maybe going on a walk once in a while. i've been built like this since my freshman year in high school and never been concerned with my weight. people say i'm so skinny but theres skinnier out there, i'm a size 6 and that i believe is ideal.
definitally NEVER let someone tell you that your fat or skinny. hell look at angelina jolie, shes built the same way.

I'm 5'7 and weigh in at 145. I have small bones, but I don't look skinny - I look just right. I've lost 20 lbs. And I would think that if you don't excercise, that would be just about right. Another 5 lbs. won't hurt, so don't worry about gaining. You probably have a fast metabolism - just remember that weighing more doesn't necessarily mean 'fat' - muscle weighs more than fat, so if you excercised and built up your muscle tone, you could gain.
