I really suggest you take up golf. Its a great single person game. Lets you really challenge yourself without to much physical stress.

If you want something physical- try weight training at the gym or get a bike and ride everyday. You could join a choir or a drama group. What about joining a book club? Become a mentor. The possibilities are endless.

Well I could probably suggest an easy one, grab the vacuum and clean your carpet or wash dishes, do laundry as you do those things you're excersing and you're taking care of your household chores.
