for sure. Training camp starts and he is in a halo. Season starts and he is 70, maybe 80% and gun shy.
Not to mention the first time he takes a snap and takes a good lick on the noodle, he's going to start questioning his readiness to play AND just chewing his food is going to remind him of the pain. These guys are tuff, but anything that deals with head injuries effects your mind profoundly. He will not be 100% all this season. Fear is greater than his ability.

I hope and pray he's okay as far as his decision making abilities, It depends on the portion of his head that gives him the most repercussions... See having had a concussion or two in my day ( accidents /and sports related; I'd say he'd be alright for the most part but it's the lacerations to the back of the head that effects the thinking on your toes and quick decision making skills we should concern or they (sorry big Fan) should concern themselves with now. If my Head knowledge is correct they are hiding this possible set back from the Media.

Yes, he will lose weight and conditioning from having to recover, then he going to have to get in shape and sharpen his skills, then he has to get use to new players on offense, and get ready to take hits. This could take the third or fourth game of the season.

Possibly but thinks it might be minor. He'll be sore for quite awhile but sees no long term effects. Wonders if they did a CAT Scan though to make sure that head of his is empty or what. Glad he is going to be OK but a stupid move on his part.

Actually not that much. He was supposed to be out of the hospital today, and by the looks of it, he might actually start for the first regular season game.

He will probably not have a season or contract. It's a shame he didn't wear a helmet. His life as a star player is probably over!

Yes it will a shame for the steelers and him. Hopefully it won't hurt his career. And he will make full recovery from his accident.

i think he'll come back at about...week 8...but he and his team won't make it to the finals. his injury won't affect him too much.
