Mercury Marine made "Force" outboard motors. A Yahoo search for "force outboard motors" (include the quotation marks) turned up 1,830 results. The following site is a forum for those trying to troubleshoot problems with Force motors:

Call a boat motor repair shop, they can tell you where to find a s/n on the motor and they'll tell you all about it.
