An act by a single person or by a group of people?
There have been so many atrocities that it's impossible to pick just one. The most popular answer seems to be the Holocaust, but we forget the Crusade and The Salem Witch Trials. How about Jack the Ripper and other murders? Take your pick.

How is it that no one mentioned the 1400+ years of perpetual war, murder, enslavement, persecution, corruption and perversion and terrorism committed upon the world by Islam. The followers of Islam have caused more evil to be perpetrated on the world than any three or four otherentities combined.

Nothing in this world compares to the slaughter of the Jews.
I'm not jewish but when I hear, read, or see movies of what these people went through it brings hurt to my heart. I can't even imagine anyone doing this to another human being.
