If convicted of DUI in Nebraska, can you still legally drive while the case is under appeal? Also does the conviction and length of suspension carry over to the 49 other states? Can anyone direct me to website references? Thanks in advance.

I don't have website references for my answer, but logic dictates that you would not be able to drive if your license has been suspended, until you have been told that your license is reinstated. When someone is convicted of murder and they appeal their case, they aren't released from prison while the case is under appeal, right?

I don't know all the answers. However, upon conviction (and even before), your drivers license is taken away from you. I believe Nebraska requires one to have a license to drive. Answer one of your questions yourself.: Do you have a drivers license ??

Best to ask a local DUI attorney or State DMV.
