They always seem to have fabulous shoes and I am so jealous! I am a woman and my feet are size 11w. It is very, very hard for me to find shoes. Can you recommend ?

We have the same problems you Genetic Girls have ... so being attentive to sizes help.
I traditionally shop at Payless Shoe Sources nearer to urban markets. I have found that African American women want high style, even if they have larger shoes. My favorite on line sources are nordstroms.com and sexyshoes.com. Sexy Shoes is just the place when you want a pair of knock them over shoes up to size 15!!!

There are many specialty shoes stores that cater to larger shoe sizes. Also you can have them custom made which may cost a bit more ( what is a little bit more when you have shoes to kill for). Payless actually caters to larger sizes and they do have great styles. No one would know you bought them there if you don't tell tell them where you bought it. My sister also has big feet but I like to believe that it matches her big heart and larger that life personality. good luck

I am 54 and have been dressing like a woman. You can go to any show store like pay-less because they have great price. I have bought my best heels at mall stores and try second hand / thrift stores great deals on dresses and skirt. Go check it out. One more idea ask a girl friend to help you. Always try on the shoes.
