My screen would start to wiggle once in awhile. I eventually noticed that it would only do it when my cell phone was to close to the monitor. I guess we should turn off our phones on planes.

Although possible it's very doubtful. It's probably some other video or software related problem. If someone was controlling your PC then the mouse would move around and click on things like a ghost where doing it. Plus you'd have to have some sort of remote control software installed and running.

The best way to fix this, whether or not the problem exists, would be to do three things... :intall a firewall, download virus protection, and install spyware remover. I you can not do these three things then you have a bigger problem...if you can do these three things your problem should be fixed...if the same thing happens after you do these three things then a hacker is probably not your problem.

NOTE: if you are running Windows XP with Service Pack 2 you will already have a firewall and will not need to install one...if not a good free firewall to use is zone alarm.

A good free antivirus software is AVG free.

A good free spyware remover is lavasoft's adAware.

If it is a new Computer and still under Warranty, then either take it back to where you bought it or call the Company Service Technicians that makes that type of Computer.
If it is an OLD Computer then you may need a New Monitor.

i am not sure exactly what you mean by "the screen will start moving up and down" but i can tell you that if i have too many windows open or am running programs that use alot of Ram, my pages will start flipping out and just sorta shuffles through 'em...it looks like my screen is having a psychotic break with reality...i just close some things and it stops....

If you bought a used computer sometimes people leave something on there that can get them to hack in your computer...or if you dont have good enough softwear to keep intruders out...if you think someone is make sure you get someone to check it out and if so its best you get a new computer and delete any email accounts or anything that you have set up on the internet.

Do not attempt to fix a problem that I entirely control. I have allowed you to watch videos, listen to music and surf funny sites, but you must remember that I am still in control of your computer. Any attempts to assume control yourself will be met with the stiffest resistance. Now get back to surfing and let me do what I need to do.

I have problems with my computer all the time. I swear it has a mind of it's own. Try shutting down and rebooting. I really don't know. My mouse goes haywire sometimes.

First have a scan done: you can download a number of sypware scanners or adware scanners. It may also be your mouse. If its a ball type, it may be dirty. Or the aliens may have taken over. Do your home work and scan the thing for viruses and worms and diseases or ad ware or spyware. Hell just shoot it.

little green men... just kidding. maybe something is wrong with your monitor. Is it old? I know that my old computer used to do something like that, the screen would jump a little and sometimes it was wavey.
