how to read DOC files using C programming.?

i need a C program which can read DOC files ur help would be of great use ,thanx in advance .

I believe Microsoft has published an API for Doc files. Using COM you can use the COleDocument interface and go through them.

I don't know, but I have it for VB '05 Express.
