Everyone in this country (and probably the world) knows that two buildings fell that day - Tower 1 and Tower 2. However there was more damage and destruction than that... How many buildings do you think fell that fateful day? If you KNOW that answer, please wait to answer for a few days.... I am curious how many people are waking up (or not).

I think all but building 6 were damaged. Towers 1 and 2 came down as well as Building 7.

That I recall, five including the Verizon building at least in part that caused interruption in the internet from canada, west to ohio, and south to almost georgia.

In addition to the 110-floor Twin Towers of the World Trade Center itself, five other buildings at the WTC site, including WTC building 7, and four subway stations were destroyed or badly damaged. In total, on Manhattan Island, 25 buildings were damaged.

Ok, 7.

As you may remember we were more worried about our loved ones those days than anything else.

4. WTC 3-Marriott Hotel (crushed by the collapse of the Twin Towers)
5. WTC 4, 5, and 6 were beyond the point of repair and later razed

There was a "tower" or "building 7" I believe that fell also. So in all, I believe there were three.
