Women learn early on that there are just some things you can't say to a man. At what stage in their lives they learn this is unsure, but it starts at a very young age. Men, on the other hand are quite insensitve and only give thought to what they say to women when they seek to manipulate them. Even then, they can say the wrong thing. Why the double standard? Why are their egos more fragile and safeguarded than our feelings?

Contrary to popular belief, women are more responsible moral conscious,smarter and possess survival skills that confuse men. Since days of old, women have not received proper respect for their abilitys and menhave always been granted validation just for being a man. Women stroke mens egos as a hidden ploy all along knowing they are far superrior.

And if a man says so little as, "Hmm, she's cute," suddenly his girlfriend has concocted an elaborate scenario where this girl that her boyfriend thinks is cute (and, btw, only saw now, never before) have been meeting in secret for years and cheating on her behind her back, how he doesn't love his girlfriend any more, how he's leaving in a heart beat and it's all over so why prolong it. (Oh... look at that cute boy! No, look hon! He's so hot... I bet he could have any girl he wanted in here, even me. You wait here, I'm going to go flirt. Hold my drink, will you. What do you mean you don't want me flirting with other guys? It's just flirting.)
If she goes to the stylist, and has one stray hair cut, and he doesn't swoon over her new hair cut, then he's in the dog house. Oh, never mind that he was born blind, he should know. (Oh, by the way, how long has your head been shaved? Two weeks? Hu. Doesn't look that different.)
They've been together two weeks, and she buys a new outfit for a date, and (*gasp* the horror!) he didn't know it was new! Can you believe that? I mean, it was new! And he didn't know! He thought that maybe in two weeks, he hadn't seen all my cloths... yes, I know they fill two cosets and five dressers, but that's not the point, he didn't know they were new!
And we put up with it constantly! Every day, from our girlfriends/wives, mothers, female friends, etc! You wonder why we don't feel totally up with ourselves all the time with you constantly at us? Who really has the more fragile ego? Women! It's been proven time and again!
Luckily, I have a wife who realizes she's the best, and actually happens to be the best, so I don't have any ego problems, because if I don't notice her new hair cut, she's still the best, that's that, so there's no point pushing the issue with me.

Not all men do but the ones that do have low self esteem issues and need help and counseling and so do the women that feel this way too. Women should not ever have to stroke a mans ego and he needs to love her for who she is and unconditionally. Not all men are insensitive. My husband is very sensitive and attends to me and my emotional and other needs as well. I have a great husband.
Men like to feel respected and honored and loved and maybe this is why some of them are like that!

Seriously, men AND women are touchy ... just not about the same things.
Women are possessive. Women are extremely sensitive about their self-image. Women are insensitive about SILENCE.
See, it's the same for both sexes, and women are just as "fragile" as men ... we are just very different in what particular things cause us to go berserk.

there are only a handful of things that i may be sensitive about. a woman, the list is a bit longer. but it is true...what we do find bothersome we take real hard. and we tend to speak before we think. it's insecurities nurtured and solidified by society and media...blame them...lol.
