I don't know that most people hate Leos, and I don't think they are racists but below is a list of bad attributes that are associated to the sun sign of Leo. though this doesn't mean that everybody has them or that someone has not overcome these issues, usually the immature or unevolved Leo will display these attributes.

conceited
needs to be the center of attention
wants to always be the leader
has fixed ideas and opinions and are not interested in yours because yours are wrong
Big egos
Drama queens
Their crown is always bigger and brighter than yours.
Remember Leo is a fixed sign, the symbol is a lion, (king of the jungle-royalty), the sun is their ruling planet and all other planets revolve around the sun.

I think because we Leo's are very out going and opinionated, sometimes we have a disregard for others as long as we get what we want which is abit arrogance and most of all we can be abit over barring at the oddest of times, we can't help it most of the time but I've found if we work at it we can reverse these unlikeable traits, i have for the most part but then again i am 41 years old and it has taken quite some practice for quite some time. All in all it was worth it, Well my husband seems to think so... and he is a hard headed Capricorn...

I'm a leo...and I must say that I think that for one, most people may e a little intimidated by us. Also, we're a little self centered, narcisistic, boastful, bossy, aggressive...those are just to name a few. These are qualities that most people are NOT drawn to. The best thing though is knowing and admitting these things about oneself, then you know to work on them. I've worked on myself a lot and I've become a more pleasant person to be around. It's hard though at times...cuz leos are meant to be leos and sometimes I forget that I'm being bossy, selfish or boastful...I have to catch myself at times...

Unless you are going around telling ever one your a leo how would they know. And as far as being races you are just being TRYING TO FIND A FIGHT! Get over your self. I know some leos and they do not go around telling everyone what sign they are it is so 60s.

I'm a leo, and I only know of one person who hates me and it's not b/c I'm a leo
But supposedly Leos are spot light hogs, and attention whores and love to be number one all the time.
Also we are supposed born leaders and I know that a lot of people don't like that leos are also bossy and very competetive (those are all supposeds)

Do you mean stereotyping zodiac signs? Because I'm a leo too, and the planet is the sun, and I was also born in the year of the dragon, but I don't think I fit any of those stereotypes.But, I guess its because of whats said, but there's more positive than negative, no?

Alright, can we all just agree that people can't cast spells and astrology is bullsh*t? While we're at it, let's stop using the phrase "I'm not religious, I'm spiritual." Every time I hear anyone call themselves "spiritual," it's just after they mention astrology and just before I land a flying elbow to their ovaries (as anyone who believes in astrology is undoubtedly a woman who needs to be punched in the crotch). Most people who read horoscopes also buy into other new age crap like tarot cards and self-healing.

Self healing? Self healing was perfected by Rambo in Rambo: First Blood when he stitched his arm shut after he cracked a kid's back while jumping off a cliff (and the only reason his arm split open was because he's so tough he wanted to make the bad guys think they had a chance, but yeah right.. it was like Rambo sent them all Christmas cards, but instead of cards it was murder).

The other thing that pisses me off about horoscopes is that some people make financial decisions based off them. Re-read that sentence a few times until the implications set in. Yes, there are mouth-breathers out there who literally believe clumps of rocks and dirt floating around pockets of gas have anything to do with their stocks and lottery winnings.

I can only answer that question as to why people hate Leo men. I lived with one for 4 years. The good first: they are funny, talented in arts and poetry, they are the best lovers, they are adventureous, they are soft and kind when others aren't around, when it benefits them, they are giving. Now for the bad: they are arrogrant, selfish, abusive (emotionally & physically), it's all about them (they have to come first), they lie when it is just as easy to tell the truth, they are cheaters and thieves
