lying is bad... it makes your conscience go away after awhile... I'm lying about an affair!! that is like a double no-no I know but it somehow just ...well..happened... ok that's a lie... it happened because I wanted it to as well as the other person. i did at one time feel guilty and bad about it now ( 9 months into it) i don't at all!!! it's ok to lie to a little kid...when they will not understand the truth...no honey your hermit crab is just a sleep.....oops! other than that I do not lie /.........................i have no reason to

You don't.

If the other party is lying, and you communicate it brazenly, in kind to the other, where's the lie?

Feeling guilty?

Feelings are unreliable. Govo has a kind of chemical based on either and including an adrenaloid/suppressant compound that'll mimmick every known human emotion. Including some you never heard of.

I mean, Mojo down on the corner doesn't have the smarts to produce his product, he just peddles it. Somebody came up with the formula, right?

The adulterous woman eats, wipes her mouth, and says I have done no wrong.

I am ashamed to admit that I lie because I've been places I shouldn't have been, doing things I shouldn't be doing.

Yes, I feel guilty, but I have discovered that the more you lie, the less bothered you are by it.

And it's never okay to lie. The Bible calls any lie a sin.

I only lie when and if in the end its not going to matter, such as if I did something on time or when I do it as longs as it gets done
Or homework like did you do it: no, ill have it tomorrow

Only lie when the outcome doesnt matter

I lie sometimes to protect my privacy... as close to the truth as possible but omitting or altering certain details, on an as needed basis.

I like to think of that part of me as the "propaganda prime minister" in my mental administration. Like my own personal spin doctor. No guilt. It's a dirty job but it must be done...

Mostly small things. I tend to reassure people that I'm OK when I'm not really, but I tend not to lie about big things. They tend to blow up in my face.

Nothing big and not often, but if someone guesses I am like 24, I don't correct them. I am infact 28.

Lies always harm you. There is no such thing as a good lie. If nothing else they harm relationships and they harm us spiritually.

I do it when I don't want someone to get hurt like if they ask, "Did so and so say something about me"? I just can't and won't feed into the drama.
