Like when I put makeup on, it looks bad because my face is flaky. I use a moisturizer, and wash my face twice a day with a good cleanser. And it is still flaky! Help!

Try not washing your face as much, it's drying eventhough you put on moisturizer. If it's still a problem, talk to your dermatologist, it may be something that needs medication.

You should exfoliate your skin 3-4 times a week by doing this it gets rid of dead skin cells which will help with the flakiness. What cleanser do you use because it might not be right for your skin type. I use dermalogica they are a salon based product but you can purchase it from the internet. They specialise in skin care and have a wide range of products for different skin types, they use all natural ingredients which is excellent.

In order to get soft skin you have to exfoliate the dead skin cells from the surface then moisturize.

Try Freeman Renewance Anti-Aging Chemical Peel. Its an extrememly moisturizing pomegranite facial mask. The pomegranite disolved the dead skin cells. I use it twice a week and my face just glows. Its available in the skin care isle at most convenience stores, I bought mine at Rite-Aid.

Use St. Ives Collagen cream before putting make-up on and before you go to bed. Take a break from wearing make-up for a couple of days and take it off right when you get home from work/school. good luck. Btw if your face isn't that bad why wear make-up every day? let the world see the real you instead of a made up barbie, just because you're a girl doesn't mean you have to wear make-up every day. I had a teacher who used to tell us girls to "face the sun to get "natural" color. So face the sun a couple mins. every day.

Dry or flsky skin appears when your skin is not properly moisturized, lack of moisture, H20. Dink plenty of water for great supple skin, wash your face, scrub the fce to remove the dead skin cells, moisturize, use the correct moisturiser for your skin type.

that happened to me last month, drink lots of water and try to put more moisturizer on more frequently. also try to cut down on the makeup you put on or cut down on the cleanser you use. Once your skin gets back to normal you can go back to your regular routine.
