Actually, my favourite time is the time in the middle - from the Symbol album through 'Come', 'The Gold Experience', 'Exodus', 'Chaos and Disorder' to 'Emancipation', he was on an incredible run - making music that was just so full of life and vitality... But it's difficult to find...

But Prince is Prince and there will be genius in anything he does. For example, you need to seek out 'The Rainbow Children' - the most overtly 'Jehovah's Witness' album he made - it's tough to find too but it's brilliant. The man has more soul in his little toe than most people have in their whole bodies...

I don't care for the 'Controversy' album that much, but '1999' through 'Lovesexy' is pure genius as well.

Give the man credit - he's been at it for almost 30 years now. Anybody who can still produce anything of note 30 years into his career is hard to find in the music business!

Since the entertainer Prince (full name is Prince Rogers Nelson) became a Jehovah's Witness, his music and performances have been more captivating and soulful than ever. Interestingly, Prince has made more money in the past two years than during any other two-year period in his entire career, including during his "heyday".

He was awesome on American Idol.

Without a doubt, old school, raunchy, Dirty Mind through Batman Prince. He was at the top of his game from those two periods. Trust me, I've seen him in concert in 1988 and 2004.
