Here's the CORRECT answer. Yes, it can happen...but if you are worried that they didn't explore other physical damage, don't worry, they did. With an injury like that it is only obvious to check for other physical damage like muscle, tendon, and ligament tears. However, nerve damage is not so easy to identify; what they will do is let the foot heal and then do some tests to see if it is functioning properly throughout its normal range of motion and also check to see if feeling and sensation have returned to normal...this will reveal any possible nerve damage. To try to do so now would be impossible as the foot has not healed from the physical trauma. Give it some healing time, and relax. Hope this info helped.

Yes it is. I've actually had this happen. The muscles have been compressed or crushed and are badly bruised. The bones themselves may be bruised. It takes a while to heal from these. Take anti inflamitories like ibuprophin. Also, don't be too shocked if the hospital calls days later to say your foot IS broken. Xrays are routinely reviewed and double checked because it is easy to miss a small fracture. Take ibuprophin, rest the foot while keeping it elevated and alternate heat and ice on it.

Ya think? Sorry, I usually don't answer questions like that. Anyway-- Yes, it is possible. If you had a car roll over your foot, I would suggest you been seen by a doctor, who will probably order some x-rays.

Yeah, both muscles and nerves can be crushed by having a car roll over them.
