Since I had my tubes tied I have had irregular periods that last 7- 10 days or don't come at all.I have Cramps and very heavy bleeding. I have had to have a D&C and a cyst removed from my ovaries. I get head aches and am extreamly moody. Could the tubal be the cause of this?

I had such bad periods after my tubal that I had to go back on the Pill! And still on it. It has helped a lot with the cramps and has somewhat lessened the heavy bleeding, but I still get the menstrual migraines. I think the Pill might actually aggravate those, but it is worth it to me not to have the cramps.

I've never had any problems with my Tubal ligation but several friends of mine have had the same problems you are having. There Doctor's have told them there is nothing that can be done. Sorry I don't have any good news for you.

The Heavy bleeding may be the cause for your headaches...have you had a lab test done recently? With all that you have gone thru you may be Anemic....why don't u go to ur doctor and let him run a CBC on you and he will guide you ....good luck

Your problems should have been becouse of the the cyst and not because of the ligation

quite a few of the problems are caused by the body adjusting to the loss of hormones. these problems should clear up
