how do you get the lead out of an electric sharpener?? haha...weird question but hey ... someones gotta find out! i tried tipping it upside down, shaking it..but it doesn't seem to work...

after cleaning the sharpener. shoot a small burst of WD-40 into the hole. just a shot will do! I have cut down on my shanking and banging to remove lead by 90% It works and makes the sharpener work much better. stay sharp and good luck!!

If you broke the lead off of a pencil and need to get point out of sharpener, you will need to push a pencil in until the pencil is sharp. This will get the lead out.

try a wet q-tip...or maybe put a little piece of gum on the end of the q-tip ...u never know it might work ... :)
