I hope you all remember that if it weren't for the old people none of us would be here!! I think people forget that too much today in our hurry to get somewhere we don't even want to be.

The next time you are complaining about an old person being in front of you just remember we are just starting our lives, they have already paid their dues and have earned the right go be slower in this part of their lives.

You can find cuteness in almost every older person if you only slow down enough to look and appreciate life - both theirs and yours.

I've got no opinion on the old people thing, but I have to agree that it is beautiful on the east coast today. I just want to go play in the sun (and I hate the sun, so that's saying something).

It is absolutely impossible to generalize. My friend once saw an adorable older couple...the little old man helped his wife be seated, helped her eat, etc. because she couldn't do it on her own...my own grandmother will squabble with a sales clerk for half an hour to save fifteen cents on an item. They can be both. Just like teens can be obnoxious or great, adults can be overbearing or really nice....kids can be spoiled monsters or little angels. And of course there are all the people that are somewhere in between

I think old people are cute, the way they like to talk about the past and their experiences. So they sometimes don't hear all that well, or they are bad drivers... they mean well and we should respect them.
