I found this on a check-up sheet my little sister has. (She has to have a check-up before going into 6th grade) It has a bunch of things the doctor has to check (Height, weight, vision, hearing, etc.) The word is genitourinary..........what does it mean?

In anatomy, the genitourinary system is the organ system of all the reproductive organs and the urinary system. These are often considered together due to their common embryological origin.

'genitourinary'....it's the organ system of all the reproductive organs and urinary tract. apparently they combine it because of their common embryological origins.
in layman's terms i think it means a check up of the urinary tract (uti's are NOT fun) and the reproductive organs...although i don't know why they would need to check that on a 6th grader.

Genitourinary refers to her vulva.

Her female reproductive organs, and her liquid waste elimination organs.

That is as politely as I know how to say it.

The person above who said it is a form of cancer is either misinformed, or is joking.
