I am virgo
First, you need to understand that the twelve signs are grouped into four elements (Air, Earth, Fire, and Water). When you know what element you are, then you can determine what you are compatible with. Obviously there are other factors besides this but here is a good start.
Air: Gemini, Libra, Aquarius
Earth: Taurus, Virgo, Capricorn
Fire: Aries, Leo, Sagittarius
Water: Cancer, Scorpio, Pisces
Air goes well with Air or Fire, Earth goes well with Earth or Water (and vice versa).
