There are many factors that can cause hypertension (high blood Pressure.) Some of the factors that you can control to lower the BP are, Caffeine, smoking, Sodium, and stress. A regular sleep schedule, and exercise have also been shown to help in most cases.

He should also start taking his BP on a regular basis, and documenting it so if it can not be brought under control you have a base line to provide you doctor with.

3 years ago, I was diagnosed - hypertension with a reading of 160/100. I used to feel dizzy a lot, my legs had awful cramps, and levels were very low in my potassium, causing my fingers and toes to always cramp together. One day I started to feel really faint while I was driving with my daughter in the back seat and I passed out, hitting 3 cars and ending up in a ditch. That moment,I knew I had to do something because my meds weren't working. I heard about this diet from a friend and thought I'd give it a shot. The results have been remarkable. In just 21 days, I honestly can't remember feeling this good, my blood pressure went from 175/110 to 125/70.

Your husband may want to use meditation (TM for example) if he is under a lot of stress. Also, he should do aerobic exercise if he does not already.

I am 50, lean- 153 lbs and 5 ft. 10 and my family tree has high blood pressure as a factor. I have been borderline- mid 130's for my BP.

This winter, I ran across a great book called NO More Heart Disease by Dr. Ignarro. Dr Ignarro won a Nobel Prize in 1998 for his work on nitric oxide for your health. I was so impressed that I started his recommended supplementation program and my BP dropped down to 100's. So I am a believer. You may want to check it out.

Last year, I was introduced to an AMAZING all natural wellness system by a very close friend of mine. I am 43 years old, and I have been taking blood pressure meds for 6 years. Since I have been using the product, I am becoming healthier every day! I no longer need to take blood pressure medication, and my 18 year stretch of chronic low back and hip pain is completely gone thanks to this amazing product.

Honestly there's no truly demonstrated option to manipulate top blood stress rather than treatment. You can attempt to get rid of strain and breathe deeply and calm down however that's only a transitority repair at pleasant. High blood stress is not anything to mess around with. Over a protracted interval of time it may possibly reason primary issues equivalent to artery, kidney and middle harm or even loss of life. It is referred to as the silent killer considering that there are quite no noticeable or visible indicators rather than your readings that's a robust sign to get treatment and take it every day.

My father is 48 and, in lieu of medication, he works out in order to maintain his blood pressure.

Just remember that some people are born with a slightly higher blood pressure, just as some are born with a higher, or lower, temperature than normal.
