Just do liberal arts. If you are young enough to be looking to go to college for a career, you are definitely young enough to change your mind a few thousand times. Liberal arts will get the basics that will help you with whatever career/major you are looking for at the end of your sophomore year. Plus, a Liberal Arts major will give you a well balanced education that will allow you to pursue any non-technical career. Another benefit is that you can take any elective that your school offers that may help you with event planning! :)
