It's like twisted philosophy...the question has become the question. Go forth and populate Yahoo! Answers with more questions, Grasshopper! (And if you're wondering who you should award your first best answer to, that would be me!)

"Where will I spend eternity" is the first question you should ask. When I was dying in a critical care unit 35 years ago, the Love of God came to me personally. I called Him "daddy" and asked Him to take care of me on this side and on the next side..that if He did choose to take my life-that I would trust Him with it to live or to die. He overpowered me with all peace and calming love. I did not ask Him to make me well or to let me live. Only that He be the one to care for me. He chose to let me live longer..and I serve Him because He first loved me. He gave two commandment(I found out later His name of love is Jesus Christ): Love the Lord your God with all your heart and all your soul and strength..and love your neighbor as yourself. I find great contentment in the very thought of doing these commandments and in doing them I find my happiness and meaning.

You just asked it. But for you next question, ask about something that intrigues you. What do you really want to know about?
