I'm lebanese, I have a common account with my sister, & a credit to that account. but I'm outside for several months and I kept the credit card with her. it looks that her girlfriend stole the credit card & password several times, went to ATM, get money and returned the credit card back into my sister's bag without letting her know, until she suspected & discovered that there are 11,000 US $ stolen by ATM.
My sister went to police after she received the withdrawal report with dates & ATM #. but she cannot prove anything. the bank's ATM isn't supposed to have a camera or something to prove who used the credit card?

Just about all bank atm's have cameras. You need to start the disputed charges and fraudulent activity process with your bank accounts or credit card companies that the money came from. There are special procedures to go through and the sooner you do them, the sooner you will get your money back.

Contact the bank immediately and cancel the card! Next, contact the three major credit reporting bureaus and report the card as stolen. If the "friend" knew the password, your sister may have some explaining to do, as to why she gave the code out. It may have to be decided in a court of law.

But -- first things first -- CANCEL THE CARD! And if I were you, I would open a new account -- maybe even at a different bank.
