The injuries and Athletics are real, the people are great at what they do, It is mostly scripted, but sometimes they go off on their own and play it by what happens, but dont think for one second that just anyone can do the things they do......It is dangerous

College wrestling is real. The stuff on tv and at the rink with the (actors) is not. Although they can get hurt. But if they really did what they are showing there would be a lot of dead wrestlers...try recording it on your dvd or vhs and play it back in slow motion. Pretty funny!!!

I think that wrestling is NOT real. Pro wrestling is more for entertainment purposes and is REALLY fake.

I trained at a local professional wrestling school.

All pro wrestlers are trained in how to take a bump ( Falling Properly). The punches conect but arent fisted punches kicks make contact but arent as hard as they look.

chair shots are not acted

The tables consist of compressed sawdust so are easily broken.

the matches and outcomes are predetermined, storylines obviously scripted but when taking a bump let me tell you it hurts a hell of a lot. if you aintr bruised at the end of a session, you aint tried hard enough.

I believe that the wrestler have to be in good physical shape to with stand some of fall that they take. but a lot of it is entertainment. some of them are very good actors and actress. Note each day of the year they have to travel to different states around the US preforming in many venue with there act . most of the well known wrestler like Triple H and Shawn Michael there's aways a story line. But behind the scene there best friends. Believe me when I tell you TV try to make us believe that there is a good guy and bad guy . I known better there all friends and co workers.

What kind of wrestling? 'Professional'; wrestling is often staged theatrics which are scripted and concocted much like a TV soap opera. 'Amateur' wrestling is based on the styles of Greeks and Romans (Greco-Roman) and others (freestyle) and is done with specific rules, times and weight limits and so forth.

You mean the stuff that is shown on tv? well to answer your question No they don't get physically injured they are train to do stunts and to put on a show. So they have been taught to take fake blows or how to make it seem real for tv they are just actors on the telly.

sort of, the wrestlers act out everything and the winners are pre-chosen, but the wrestlers do got through REAL pain, and sometimes a wrestler will decide not to lose (if they were going to be determined the loser) and will really fight and wrestle
