Check the Cherokee Nation's official website...

Good luck...

BTW, my maternal grandmother was a full-blooded member of the Cherokee Nation who enjoyed teaching her neighbors and friends in Monrovia, CA(where she died in 1973) about tribal cultures and traditions unique to the Cherokees...

Are you a Cherokee? Do you have any blood relatives who were Cherokees? If you're a white guy, forget it. You already have just about everything the Cherokees ever owned. The little they have is nonviolate.

You probably have to prove your Cherokee ancestry with birth certificates and the like in order to receive any benefits.

You get 40 acres and a mule. WTF is wrong w/you? You want to join an Indian nation because you think the government will give you something for nothing?

Here's a novel idea. Get a job, stop this lame attempt to join a nation like its a club (for all the wrong reasons) and fend for yourself.
