How many of you have found a wallet and handed it in or tracked owner to give it back. money and all?

One time I found 20 dollars on the locker room floor at school, so I gave it to my gym teacher, and she was sooo amazed that I turned it in, she gave it 1 day for someone to come and claim it. So since no one claimed it, she gave it to me. It was kinda cool.

Honestly, I have!!
It's the only right thing to do...would you want someone keeping your wallet and money? No.
I'm sure more people out there would turn the wallet in too.

I have never found a wallet. But I have seen people's money fall out of their pocket and I let them know.

i havent ever found a wallet but i have found money lying around in stores, no i didnt offer to give it back but, if i had found a wallet or money in a house i wouldnt touch it!

I've never found a wallet but have found several purses, one laying in the middle of the street I called the lady from her ID and returned it to her she gave me $20.00 tho her purse only contained $2.00 in change it contained all the pix she had left of her grand kids , they were deceased, the other ones I found at Wal-Mart in shopping baskets outside I turned them all in ,even the one that a woman tried to clam was hers , when Wal-Mart checked the ID inside it she suddenly disappeared

I did, like 3 or 4 times. I did it in school, when I was in 7th grade or so, I found 5 bucks (not a lot, but to us kids it was) and turned it into the teacher. I can't remember the other times. Honesty is the best policy. Cheesy, yes, but true. You've heard the saying 'what goes around comes around'.

I used to work at a hotel and found a wallet in a room and gave it to the manager.I'm not sure what she did with it though.I did look in it and it had $100.00 in it and a bunch of credit cards.
