I think one of the reasons is that the most heard type of country music is the cheap commercial songs that lack artistic values, unfortuantely that creates an unfair prejudice that affects great country music and musicians that not many peole hear. It is funny how people say they hate country music but they would know all the WIllie Nelson songs for example, when they hear the word country music they immediately think of commercial crap like Tim Mc Meeaow

Who says it is frowned upon? It is extremely popular. Look at American Idol. Carrie Underwood was a country singer and she won.

Incest ought to were effortless untill the time of Moses, as God had commanded Adam and Eve to be fruitful and multiply. quickly the earth grew to grow to be really populous, yet God grow to be unhappy with the sin he stated among the heathen and allowed an outstanding flood to inundate the earth. merely 8 survived and incest back helped repopulate the earth. about the time Moses grow to be given the ten commandments. the Jewish individuals were given a large number of rules, a number of which forbade sex between son/mom, brother/sister and different close kinfolk. After Christ rose from the grave on Easter, lots of the rules that applyed to the Jewish united states were comfortable, highly for the Gentiles. Incest grow to be not especially protected, yet many trust that incest should be a own decision, highly if the couple is from healthful inventory. beginning defects and similar issues do ensue if toddlers ensue, in spite of the undeniable fact that a similar takes position with toddlers from unrelated couples.

Mostly for the depressing themes of betrayal, alchoholism, and depression; but also for it's atonal qualities, and lack of musicality.
On the other hand, those who voted for Bush love it, and that's almost half the country, right? So things can't be all bad for country.

From a musicians point of view, it's very simple.
From a listeners point of view, it's very simple.
So, I would say that it's because it's so simple.
You can always sense the cliche like feeling of the chord transitions, ie. I, IV, IV. Also, it's always lyrically similar, telling the same story. ie. "mah baby lef me, now ahm all alone" or "he my man, I like him when he do that thing" kind of stuff.

many teens and kids like pop and hiphop and a bunch of other stuff than country. Country songs talk most about stories and everything and it not as "hip" or "fun" like other somgs.
