If there is a court order to pay child support, you can ask the court to modify the order. Until there is a new order in place, you must continue to pay the child support.

Keep paying your child support until the court rule that you do not have too. It is still your responsibilty as the parent to support your child.

The child or children are still your responsibility. Even if you go to court for a modification, the money does not belong to the mother, so that wouldn't even be taken into account.

nothing child support is child support cut and dry! does not matter who makes the most money or has the most money you still would have to pay child support!
