i have never heard of water proof foundation, but i have used the liquid foundations and went swimming and i found that they stayed on my face, guess it is where it went so deep in my pores and was stuck, lol

They are not technically waterproof, in fact, if those are advertised as waterproof, the company can get into trouble by the government. The only way that the product can be advertised is water resistant. Clinic has a Workout foundation that is water resistant. You may also look into a special brand of MAC that is water resistant, but it is not sold in the ordinary MAC stores. Also, check out Cinemasecrets.com. They carry some resistant foundations as well. There are lots of waterproof foundations. The problem with them is that they clog your pores and feel heavy. I use Revlon Colorstay and it lasts even in water without the clogging heavy feeling.

I doubt there is "true waterproof" the reason being it would clog your pores so the effect of having makeup stay on would hurt your skin. Your skin has to breathe or else it becomes clogged and we have all seen the nasty effects of that.

well i have to use foundation all the time as i dont have perfect skin ,and i use Estee Lauder [ Double wear ],stay in place foundation, with a dab of any translution powder and bingo, cry all you want to, it wont run .
